ATTITUDE COUNTS

Miss Mary would not like to pass her company's gate without asking of the gateman family's health. Until she had now becomes use to it. The gateman really love her for this caring attitude. She won smiles on his face always. He always want to see her or share conversations with her.
Miss Mary was an asthma patient. She doesn't want anyone at her workplace to know. She had to combat this deadly sickness alone.
She usually waits for everyone to move out of the office or sometimes prefer they have gone home before she use her drugs.

One day, everyone work late including her. She began to feel dizzy. Her colleagues asked her what was her problem. She said she was Ok but she needed some rest. Everyone left her in the office as usual. She check for her drugs. She couldn't found it. Her eyes had began to turn white. She lost her strength and after a while, she fainted.
Miss Mary opened her eyes. She found herself in the hospital. The doctor told her that she should be so thankful to God and as well the man that admitted her to the hospital. Moreover he had also payed for her treatment bills. Mary was amazed. She want to know this caring and Godsent man.
The following day, she went to the office, she greeted the gateman in an hurry and left. When she get to her office. She asked but her office colleagues said they have no ideal who this man was. Who can this person be? She went to ask the cleaner. The cleaner told her that it was the gateman. The gateman was the least person she had expected. She called for the gateman. The gateman was happy to see Miss Mary healthly. She asked him how he found out that she was still in the office. The gateman explain that he noticed he didn't hear her greeting. But, he recalled that she greeted him in the morning. Of course she can't pass in the evening without greeting him. He decided to check for her in her office. Getting there. He saw her laying her head on her table. Everyone have gone home. He gets closer and greeted. She wasn't responding. The gateman get closer to her. He saw her eyes was already white. That was why he quickly rushed her to the hospital. "My job wouldn't have be worthy without you ma," the gateman finally said. "And I wont have still be existing among the living without you too," Miss Mary replied gladly. She was extremely happy. Her caring attitude toward the gateman had save her life.
